We'll take a ride on a bicycle and enjoy a spectacular tour of Kauai on our honeymoon! We will be riding from the rim of the famed Waimea Canyon (el. 3600 feet) down 12 miles of smooth winding blacktop all the way to the shore of the blue Pacific!

Fern Grotto Cruise

We'll travel deep into Kauai's verdant interior as we follow the gentle Wailua River. We will explore the many intriguing sites along its winding path, such as the Fern Grotto, where the enchanting Hawaiian Wedding Song is often performed. The Grotto has the distinction of being one of the most romantic places on Kauai. After visiting the Fern Grotto, we’ll continue to the sacred Hikina Heiau ("Temple of Refuge") and Maiae Heiau, where the early Polynesians came to worship. We'll also visit the royal grounds of Coco Palms and the magnificent cascading waters of Opaekaa Falls.

Kauai Surf Lessons

We'll learn to shred killer waves during a small-group lesson of no more than 3 fellow wave riders. We'll prepare for a 90-minute session on Hawaii's most forgiving waves in Hanalei or Wailua. We’ll slide into our Quicksilver rash guard t-shirt, hop on our beginner surfboard and we will put our trust in this local surf legend who’s been hitting the waves around the world for more than 40 years.

We'll zoom over jungle treetops and past the gorgeous Ha’upu Mountains on this daring adventure. We'll swing through tropical forests and dangle over rolling pastures on this zippy tour through Kipu Ranch, a 3,000-acre (1,214-ha) property that extends from the Huleia River to the top of Mount Ha’upu. Waterfalls will crash beneath our feet when flying past deep greenery. After, we’ll trek through the private ranch and discover the vibrant colors of the forest, home to animals like lively peacocks, wild pigs and singing birds.
