While in Maui, we plan to meet Jan, a local woman who specializes in a guided "tour" of the night sky from Mt. Haleakala, far removed from city light interference. Jackie has had an obsession with the skies since she was a little girl and would often tell people that she wanted to be an astronomer or an astronaut. Luckily, it didn't take much discussion to convince Matt that this would be a worthwhile trek. :)
