Thanks to our favorite Auntie Lauren, Wally and I met by chance! It was the day before Thanksgiving and Lauren and I were out on the town for a girls night out. Lauren got a call from a friend saying there was a party in San Pedro. She asked me to come along and I begged her to take me home. I had to be up at 5:00 to cook Thanksgiving dinner the next morning! Needless to say, she talked me into it ! As I was being introduced to everyone, I came upon Wally! After being introduced to him, I heard him whispering to his friend, "What was her name?" I went to grab a drink and Wally found me in the kitchen, and we chatted the rest of the night away. I guess he won me over with his fantastic opening line, "You look bored." What can I say I'm a no frills girl! Needless to say, we did not leave until 4:00 in the morning and there was no cooking thanksgiving dinner for me! I was exhausted! We met up again a few weeks later and the rest is history! |
