Well....get ready everybody! We are getting close to the big day. Mom and Dad Zupanci have groomed the yard, planted flowers, and run all the errands we don't have the time to. The cake is ordered, the band is queued, painting is nearly done, garden is all planted, berries are beginning to burst on the vine (just in time to drop in glasses of champagne), menu is planned (yes, we are cooking!), and many other details and surprises in the works! We are so excited that you all will be sharing in our big day, whether in person or in spirit. It is shaping up to be great party with lots of fun and dear guests. If anyone is in need of lodging, we have a block of rooms reserved at the Country Hearth Inn. http://countryhearthedwardsville.com/ Any questions, please feel free to email us at chefandbakerwedding@gmail.com Thank you all for sharing in our excitement! We can't wait for the big day, and hope you all are excited as well! Amy and Matt.

So much to do, so little time...as I sit here in this tiny little town in Iowa thinking, 'how on earth are we gonna get this all done?' Try as we might, we can't predict all of life's little curve balls.

But as I sit here on my own eating wood fired pizza that only my love makes better, the old men rosin up their bows & tune their guitars. But as that first chord is struck, I recognize that tune. It's Midnight Moonlight by the Grateful Dead. My eyes begin to swell thinking about my love back home forging our rings, checking off the to do's on our list, loving the animals, and being so amazingly supportive of my new job.

With every curve ball, though, the universe also has a way of sending us little signs and signals as well. So, while we may not be side-by-side right at this moment....I know we will be for the rest of our lives!

I love and miss you, Matt. I can't wait to be your wife.

Well....the official planning and work has officially begun.  Matt has already tackled house projects and my mom and I started weeding the yard today in preparation for our big day!

So much to do and so little time....

Thank you for checking out our wedding website and registry.  We will keep up on our wedding blog posts to keep you informed of details as well as keep you entertained a bit with our adventures in preparing for the great party we have in store for all of us!

Thanks.

Matt and Amy.
