A temple strictly reserved for the gods as we continue to Papetoai Village to visit the first Christian church in French Polynesia. Built by the London Missionary Society in 1822.

Tiki Island Day Tour

We will take a honeymoon day trip, and journey back in time to discover the traditional Polynesian culture at the Tiki Village Theatre a picturesque village with thatched roof pandanus houses. We'll see pearl farm demonstrations, learn the techniques of painting and of dyeing pareu, go lagoon fishing, meet craft workers and see a demonstration of mat weaving and Tiki carving and maybe even get a tattoo from one of the three tattoo artists.
