Welcome

In November of 2008, Kyla moved to Bend, Oregon from a small town in Alaska. After many a stumble she finally landed in her own apartment on Portland Avenue. It was just Kyla and her girl dog Honey in the small apartment and Honey was not adjusting very well at all. Kyla, working hard to pay her bills, was gone a total of 12 hours a day for work and commuting to and from Redmond. One day, Kyla's neighbor across the hall Beth, invited Kyla to go to the neighboring building a meet another tenant she had befriended. This tenant turned out to be Joshua Taylor. After meeting Kyla, Joshua asked her out on a date later that week. Kyla was unsure, but agreed nonetheless. It was a shaky first date, but they had a good time and continued to go out after that. Joshua started babysitting Kyla's puppy Honey while she was away at work, and after 2 short weeks he had transformed Honey from a disobedient dog into a very well behaved and well trained one. This warmed Kyla's heart very much and she began to trust Joshua more and more. The time came for the Oregon Country Fair to begin for 2009 and Kyla asked Joshua if he wanted to go. They agreed that they both wanted to attend the fair and their friend Ryan offered to take them. Kyla and Josh had a great time at the fair and felt very safe with Josh as he watched over her and composed himself as a gentlemen during the trip. When Kyla and Josh returned home a few days later and went out on another date to the Silver Moon Brewery (where she kicked his butt in pool by the way!) and it was there that Josh gave Kyla the first kiss on the cheek (due to a little maneuvering on Kyla's part). Ever since that little kiss, Kyla and Josh have not spent more than a week apart from one another. After only two months, Josh moved into Kyla's larger apartment with her and Honey and they have been a happy little family from that day on. For Josh and Kyla, it was never a question of if they would get married, but always a matter of when....
