Walking the Path of Togetherness

I am slowly walking away from my single hood and it never felt so sure until I met the man who has changed my views about being in-loved, involved and married.

February 14, 2009 - I was in Our Lady of Manaog with my friends. It is well-known shrine and is very much visited by devotees of Mama Mary. It is also known for its miracles. We were there to ask for Divine intervention for the healing of our sick friend (who's diagnosed to have breast cancer). I remember my friend telling me that it's my opportune time to ask favor from Mama Mary. Being a devotee, myself, I humbly ask for one favor - to show me my real vocation in life by allowing me to meet my one true love.

I knew I waited more than 30 years for this man and if I am called to married life, I prayed that God would reveal His Will for me. I asked if God through Mama Mary, will show me if I have to live a life of single-blessedness or I will be married and have children of my own. From then on, I no longer worry about my status. I leave the rest on God's hands.

True enough, after a year, February 14, 2010 - I met the most wonderful and unbelievable man. I am truly blessed to have known this guy who took my heart away when he showed me his first smile. I am forever grateful to Mother Mary for granting my prayers through her intercession.

Things happened in a zap. At first, I am quite uncertain because of my belief that love is measured by time. We only just met and it gives me an impression that maybe we need a little more time to know each other. But, with lots of nights and moments of reflections, I came to realize that there is always an exception to the rules.

Using the past as our guide to the future. We both live in the present, ever knowing and discovering more about each other and more excitingly, looking forward for the next season of our lives!

Joel and I really wanted our ceremony to be simple, elegant and organized. We dream of being surrounded with important people in our lives such as our families, friends and other collegues from our different field of associations. We wish our special day be a memorable one not only for us but everybody as well!

Am enjoying counting each day until I walk down the aisle and become Mrs. Jenny Ignacio!

Please join and celebrate with us!

LA VERANDA - A garden paradise in the heart of Marikina.

I knew from the very first time I visit La Veranda that it's going to be the perfect venue for our wedding. It similarly looks like FERNWOODS in Quezon City. Marikina has limited venues for wedding occasions but thanks God I found La Veranda!

Our wedding reception will immediately follow our ceremony.

Joel and I would like to thank all of our dearest family and friends for simply being here for us. You all have done so much and have made such a remarkable positive difference in our lives. We cherish the friendship and love you gave us, and continue to give to us. Thank you for visiting our wedding website and honeymoon registry. You all have blessed our lives and we can't wait to share our special day with you!
